Overall Plan/ Schedule
1. Mind map film genres
2. Research one of all main genres of film openings, titles and certifications, then refine and specialise to one specific genre.
3. Research into my chosen genre’s conventions and stereotypical characters
4. Audience research
- Produce a questionnaire and present findings in graphs/charts with analysis.
- Interview a male and a female regarding their interests in films and openings to films. Film this and type up an analysis concluding which gender to aim our film opening at.
- Look at certifications with reference to other films that our audience views.
- Conclude the demography for our genre and opening.
5. Generate a mind map of concepts and shots that we wish to include in our opening.
6. Look at music we wish to include, and where we can source it from (Free sound, bands etc).

- Casting: obtain 4 or 5 possible actors/ actresses for each character. Analyse and decide on final cast.
