Textual Analysis - 'Yes Man'

Yes Man

The 1st title is over dietetic music but not motion or picture, and then a motion picture comes on with the music continuing. This sound bridge is used to keep the verisimilitude of the sequence. There is a man in a DVD store on the phone, pretending to lead a busy life and the film continues. There are no more titles in the opening sequence following the Distribution Company; this could suggest a lack of severity, which compliments the comedy genre perfectly.
